Sophie Salvenmoser

Sophie joined Semantic Visions in 2024 as an Ontology Specialist. Originally from Austria, she later moved to Prague to add Czech to her portfolio of languages. With a degree in Translation Studies, she built her career on a strong passion for languages. Before joining Semantic Visions, she worked for Amazon Ads as a Language Specialist, proofreading content for the German market — a role that sharpened her eye for detail and accuracy. At Semantic Visions, Sophie focuses on the linguistic aspects of ontology design for German while also supporting Italian. By applying her background in translation and her expertise in language structure, she contributes to the development of ontologies that capture cultural and linguistic nuances, enabling more precise data analysis and cross-language understanding. Alongside her ontology work, she is expanding her skills in project management to further support Semantic Visions’ initiatives and contribute to the success of its projects.
