Hocine Hammouche

As a Data & Software Engineer with a strong background in computer science and engineering, Hocine specialises in algorithms and graph theory. His expertise lies in building complex data solutions, from mining raw data to creating valuable information for clients, always keeping the business context in mind. With a Licence and Master's degree in Fundamental Computer Science and Engineering from Université Paris Cité, he has a deep understanding of algorithms in both theory and practice. This knowledge allows him to develop complete data pipelines that prioritise performance in terms of speed or memory. He began his career at Gatewatcher, where he worked on a Cyber Threat Intelligence platform. His primary focus was developing the Identity module to improve data leak handling and enhance client information. This involved extracting and cleaning raw data from the web or dark web into Indicators of Compromise (IoCs), such as malware hashes, IP addresses, and URLs. He also worked on enriching these IoCs to contextualise them as much as possible, correlating them to provide valuable IoC bundles that aid cyber analysts in their investigations. At Semantic Visions, he works to improve and enrich the company's knowledge graph, ensuring clients receive the most accurate and contextualised data.
