Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain BigQuery data pipelines and data warehouses to support our organization’s data needs.
- Load data into BigQuery from diverse sources, including cloud storage, on-premises databases, and streaming data sources.
- Utilize BigQuery’s built-in features and third-party tools to transform and process data efficiently and accurately.
- Query and analyze data using BigQuery SQL engine and visualization tools, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and develop tailored data solutions that meet their needs effectively.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest BigQuery features and best practices.
Technical Skills
- 2+ years as a data engineer
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Demonstrated experience with BigQuery or a similar cloud data warehouse platform, including data loading, querying, and transformation.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and their associated services and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data engineering issues efficiently.
