We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our team and help us build robust, scalable, and efficient platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In addition, we have an on-premise infrastructure that we urgently need to modernize and shift from reactive to proactive monitoring.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proficiency in Python programming language
- Experience with GitLab
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture
- Experience with Linux, preferably Debian-based
- Knowledge of computer networks
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
Bonus Skills:
- Proficiency in Java programming language
- Experience in creating or maintaining data pipelines
- Experience with Cloud Functions
Main Tasks:
- Design and implement cloud solutions on GCP
- Collaborate with development teams on integrating DevOps tools
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
- Work on event-driven projects and optimize architecture
- Modernize and optimize on-premise infrastructure
- Transition from reactive to proactive monitoring
